Plus One: An Outsider's Photographic Journey Into The World Of Fashion last night. The book is filled with black and white photographs taken from Socol's perspective as how she felt as an outsider in the fashion world. But she says she no longer feels like an outsider in a lot of ways, explaining,
“I feel like an insider now because I’ve made so many friends! To me there’s nothing better than having people in my life that you can respect, admire, and share, and I find that I did make that. But am I an outsider as far as fashion’s concerned? Probably!”
