Other details: At last night's launch of La Maison Cointreau USA, hosts Athena Calderone, Kate Schelter, and Kyle Dewoody owned the main hall of the beautiful Broome Hotel. Guests learned about the history of Cointreau, enjoyed typical french sweets and nibbles in the "Cointreau Cafe," and were taught how to make Cointreau's signature drink - the Rickey. Guests at cocktail hour mingled to the lovely sounds of the Avalon Jazz Band, and the party really got started when DJs Timo + Alan began their set.
