The evening began with cocktails at the David H. Koch Theater terrace, where guests including Anna Wintour, Derek Blasberg, and Doutzen Kroes mingled together. They were then treated to a 3-course lunch featuring special FIT Couture Council cupcakes before the designer was presented his award for Artistry of Fashion by actress Hilary Swank. The award not only recognized his talent in design, but also his contribution to FIT. The event benefited the Museum at FIT.
