Other details: Last night, the Worldwide Orphans organization held its 9th Annual Gala at Cipriani Wall Street. The event was hosted by former Saturday Night Live star and forthcoming Late Night host Seth Meyers, and honored designer Diane von Furstenberg and Dr. Sophie Mengistu. The theme of the night, "it's not where you start, it's where you FINISH," was echoed throughout the night by the award-winners and presenters. Seth Meyer's former Weekend Update co-star Amy Poehler delivered a video message where she humorously suggested that donating to the cause will help donors lose weight, and that she would have been at the gala if not for Meyers restraining order against her. Other guests included J. Crew creative director Jenna Lyons and designer Elie Tahari.
