Other details: Last night, Lady Gaga kicked off the release of her new album ARTPOP with a special performance at the Brooklyn Navy yard. The night started off with Lady Gaga, in an out-there outfit as usual, getting into an even more out-there outfit with a flying propeller dress. The dress, named Volantis, had 4 large propellers which were used to take the artist off the ground. Following the demonstration, she gave a short speech to the audience before performing songs off of the new album. The art aspect was a major part of the night, with a large-scale version of the Jeff Koons sculpture featured on the ARTPOP cover placed in the middle of the room.
