Where: NeueHouse Other details: Last night, creative collective NeueHouse hosted a conversation between Wu-Tang Clan founder Oliver "Power" Grant and famed contemporary artist Tom Sachs. Topics ranged from limit-pushing cultural exchange to the evolution of rap and hip hop. The event was held to commemorate Wu-Tang's 20th anniversary and introduce their new art initiative, WuTang Hybrid Arts. Throughout the night, four artists live-painted portraits of various Wu-Tang members, which were then auctioned off to benefit dental needs of children around Staten Island.
