Pam & Gela Book Launch
Where: Bloomingdale's
Other details: Last night, Pamela Skaist-Levy and Gela Nash-Taylor, founders of Pam & Gela and Juicy Couture, launched their new book, "The Glitter Plan: How We Started Juicy Couture for $200 and Turned it into a Global Brand," on the second floor of Bloomingdale's. An audience of 40-50 people enjoyed a reading and Q&A with Harper’s Bazaar Editor-in-Chief, Glenda Bailey. Pam and Gela’s upbeat personalities blended well with Bailey’s wittiness and made for a great reading and interview. The interview questions became deep at times, from leaving Juicy Couture to trying to buy back the empire. After the interview, guests lined up for the book signing and pictures. You can buy their book now at Bloomingdale’s and online.
