Other details: Last night, Vs. Magazine and Helena Christensen hosted the "Better" Fashion Photography & Fine Art Charity Exhibition. The event took place at the Dillon Gallery, where beautiful photographs by talents such as Ellen von Unwerth and Guy Aroch were displayed and silently auctioned off. The photographs were limited edition prints of pictures seen in the current issue of Vs. Magazine, starring Christy Turlington, Julianne Moore, and Helena Christensen, who guest edited the issue. When asked about the process of editing, Christensen said she loved the final moments where she had to be completely focused, when the pressure was on and the deadlines were approaching. She also noted that she co-founded Nylon Magazine, so was already satisfied with her foray into creating publications, but also expressed her delight working with Vs. Other guests of the evening included Interpol singer Paul Banks, top models Dan Murphy and Luma Grothe, and nightlife guru Nur Khan. The proceeds for the prints go toward Christy Turlington's "Every Mother Counts," Adi Roche's "Chernobyl Children International," and David Lynch's "David Lynch Foundation."
