Other details: Last night, New York Observer hosted their Annual Young Philanthropy event, celebrating the twenty most important young philanthropists of the moment. Up a winding staircase at the W Union Square, a silent auction greeted guests upon arrival. The evening honored Neil Blumenthal, Prince Lorenzo Borghese, Adam Braun, Claire Courtin-Clarins, Rosario Dawson, Mike Denton, Julia Fehrenbach, Jennifer Fisher, Alex Forrester, Sam Fox, Dave Gilboa, Dhani Harrison, Scott Harrison, Chris Hughes, Michele Javian, John Kluge Jr., Lauren Bush Lauren, Masha Pearl, Tara Ford Spiegel, and Eric Trump. Timo Weiland and Alan Eckstein played tunes for a decidedly uptown crowd. Eric Trump socialized near the bar with fiancé Lana Yunaska, while Jared Kushner greeted guests near the entrance. Erin Brady and model Chase Harnett were also on hand to fete the celebration. New York Observer’s Joseph Meyer introduced partygoers to the night’s honorees. Shortly after, Charity Water’s Scott Harrison shared a few inspiring words, “If not us, then who? If not now, when?” Life preservers decorated the New York Observer's step and repeat, symbolizing the charitable help provided by the philanthropists in attendance. Lauren Bush Lauren caught up with Scott Harrison on the press line, where Adam Braun ‘photo bombed’ their pictures. Following a photo-op frenzy with the night’s honorees, jewelry designer Jennifer Fisher posed in front of a brightly colored silent auction piece. The night was capped off with passed cocktails and dancing.
