Other details: Last night the Lunchbox Fund hosted it's Fall Fete, with also served as the launch party for their new app Feedie, a philanthropy app for foodies. Emcee Seth Herzog started off the night with a little bit of stand-up comedy to warm up the crowd. Some of the famous co-chairs of the event were in attendance, including Liv Tyler, Maggie Gyllenhaal, and Mario Batali, as well as Salman Rushdie and Chuck Close who both joined Herzog on stage to discuss the organization. The festivities were only just getting started, as guests were then treated to magic tricks by David Blaine, a performance by singer Emily King, and a live auction by auctioneer and Paddle8 founder Alexander Gilkes. In addition to  items from artists such as Chuck Close, Dustin Yellin, and Michael Stipe, one guest won a dinner at Joaquin Phoenix's home with a menu by Mario Batali for $32,000. The night brought in $300,000 for the charity, which serves to benefit South African children in need.
