Last night fashion influencers came out to support Dana Veraldi and Kevin Tekinel from Deerdana and their collaboration with Horchata's Samantha Wasser. The line will feature tee shirts and totes, with Deerdanas famous illustrations - this time with the Mexican holiday, Day of the Dead, serving as their inspiration. This ultimately translated into a corn designed with small tiny sugar skulls faces on each and every one of the kernels! Fashion friends and supporters included, Timo Weiland, Cristian Siriano, and Theory's Olivier Theyskens - who posed for us with a glitter spider ring on his nose! As for last night's theme? With Hallow's eve in mind, artists Dana and Kevin couldn't help but to celebrate the launch of their exclusive and limited edition line in style, with a Day the of the Dead theme party. Dana dressed up as Frida Kahlo, a Mexican artist and painter from the '40's, who also graces some of her tee shirts. That same design was worn by IMG model, Alessandra Garcia Lorido, who mimicked the look on her tee shirt, and got costume spot-on! And as if there were no more reasons to celebrate, guests toasted to Geordon Nicol from the Misshapes- who's birthday celebration included a birthday cake, candles, and props for photo booth shots!
