Other details: Robert Miller Gallery and The American Reader presented a private reading, recital, and wine reception last night as a celebration of both the gallery’s 5 ROOMS exhibit, and the latest issue of new literary journal, The American Reader. During the evening, The American Reader’s Editor-in-Chief and Co-Founder, Uzoamaka Maduka, recited excerpts from Robert Coover's haunting short story 'The Goldilocks Variations.' Sections of Coover's text were read alongside their musical "companions" played by pianist Serene Han, using artist Yayoi Kusama's painted piano.
