Other details: On Friday, SCOPE Art Fair and Grandlife Hotels unveiled the new exhibition "ATRAMENTUM" by Aerosyn-Lex Meštrović at the Tribeca Grand hotel. The pieces were on display in the lobby and main room of the hotel, and featured an exclusive mural commissioned for the exhibition. This wasn't Lex's only display during the week, having been a featured artist at SCOPE Art Fair and showing work at the Armory Party at MoMA during Blood Orange's performance.
Guests sipped on wine and smokey-yet-refreshing Illegal Mezcal cocktails as they walked around the room and observed the intricate details of Lex's calligraphic work. We caught Lex chatting with super-producer Diplo at the Armory Party, and he mentioned they have been friends since they were 16, and have worked together on album artwork. He also took a moment to show us a picture of his different but equally stunning display at the SCOPE Art Fair.
Following the reception, guests headed to the basement Studios where Vikas Sapra and Chelsea Leyland DJ'd the SCOPE Art Fair after-party.
