Victoire! Americans Friends of the Louvre Young Patrons Circle Annual Gala

Where: Bleecker Street Arts Club Other details: Last night, the Americans Friends of the Louvre Young Patrons Circle hosted their annual Gala at the Bleecker Street Arts Club. Guests arrived to the second floor where artwork lined the walls, including a handful that were part of the silent auction to raise funds to conserve one of the Louvre's most iconic sculptures, the Winged Victory of Samothrace. At the bar, St. Germain cocktails were served, which the young, elegant crowd sipped on throughout the night. With the weather being perfect after a dreary week, guests opted to celebrate the event on the rooftop, where they were treated to breathtaking views of the city. Artist Jeff Doran, who contributed a piece for the silent auction, was excited to be in New York for the week. The Savannah-based artist was happy to support the Louvre and the community of artists it brings together, but was also eager to spend a few days finding some new haunts in NYC. A handful of NYC's top journalistic talents including Carson Griffith, Nate Freeman, and Noorah Raj cavorted on the rooftop until the rain finally broke it up. It did not, however, put a damper on the merriment as guests rushed back inside to the St. Germain bar to keep the party going. Victoire!
