"New New" Exhibit Opening Party
Where: 175 Canal Street
Other details: Last night, on-the-rise artist Gogy presented a new exhibit titled "New New" featuring his own works, as well as works by Maggie Lee and Peter Sutherland. The event tightly packed a downtown crowd into a space on Canal Street, where the photographs and sculptures were displayed. Beer was handed out but ran out quickly, so the party turned into a BYOB event with guests bringing in whatever they had. Gogy even humorously posed for pictures with his mother, both holding mini bottles of whiskey. Le Baron regular DJ Cougarskin spent time chatting with Montauk native PJ Monte, who brought in his bulldog to the crowd's delight. DJ Michael Baltra was also chatting about Miami Music Week next week, while Gogy was making the rounds with everyone from Richardson Magazine's Andrew Richardson to nightlife personality Simonez Wolf.
