Other details: Liz Goldwyn, Karen Elson, Tonne Goodman, and Moda Operandi hosted the Vintage Vanguard charity event last night at the Jane Ballroom to benefit the organization Dress for Success. Guests entered the room to find over 20 vintage dresses from the personal collections of Elson and Goldwyn, reworked by over 20 designers. Guests including Zac Posen, Karlie Kloss, and Derek Blasberg looked at the gorgeous dresses which were reworked by Marc Jacobs, Francisco Costa, and Olivier Theyskens among others. Tennessee Thomas provided the music for the event, but took a break when Karen Elson performed an acoustic set to the crowds delight. The dresses were auctioned off at the event to support Dress for Success, an organization that provides resources for career development and the improvement of life to women in need.
