Where: Zimmermann Other details: Last night designer Nicky Zimmermann celebrated the opening of her first NYC boutique. The Australian brand has only one other location in the US, in Los Angeles. The 3,800 sq/ft store is located on 55 Mercer Street, and contains the full range of ready-to-wear, swim, and accessories collections the brand is known for. The brand is also available at department stores like Barneys and Saks, but following their first NYFW runway show, they decided to create a flagship in the city. The opening had DJ May Kwok spin tunes to fashionable guests including Leandra Medine, model Ajak Deng, and blogger Alex Spencer as they had cocktails and checked out the collection.
