Other details: Last night, The Westway, Scott Lipps, Mazdack Rassi, and a handful of other New York's social elite hosted a special Halloween party at the Garage on 25th Street. Guests on the list to the exclusive event weren't sure what to expect, but soon found themselves in a giant parking garage filled with fog, loud music, and a disco ball, effectively making it a warehouse party. Just outside the entrance was Scott Lipps and Scott Campbell, both in costumes perfectly representative of themselves. Lipps, who's Courtney Love's drummer, dressed as a band member of KISS, while artist Campbell painted his face in his signature style to great effect. [Scott Campbell, Scott Lipps][Mazdack Rassi] DJ Rocktakon started off with an open-format set as the crowd trickled in, and later into the night, Jonny Famous played a hip-hop heavy set which set the late-night revelers off. Annabelle Dexter-Jones channelled Marilyn Monroe perfectly, as she laughed with Westway's James Cruickshank by the open bar, while Carlos Quirarte and Matt Kliegman lured a large group behind the DJ booth including a guy who brought (and used) a funnel. In addition to Svedka Vodka and beer, the event was also equipped with two Tacombi taco trucks on either side of the venue, which stayed busy all night re-energizing the party-goers.
