Other details: Last night at the Highline Stages, The Whitney Museum hosted the 22nd Annual American Art Award, honoring those who have made a commitment to the cultural heritage of the arts in America. Among those honored was Reed Krakoff, who donated 5 unique tote bags to be auctioned off in a silent auction. The bidding for the one-of-a-kind bags began at $1,000. Maynard Monrow got a few laughs, wearing a make shift award on his chest that read "Honorable Mention."
