Private Dinner to Celebrate Francois-Xavier Lalanne's Sheep Station

Other details: Transforming a functional gas service station into a public art space was the premise of last nights inaugural exhibition Sheep Station located at the Getty gas station on 24th street and 10th avenue. Architect Michael Shvo, Claude Lallane & gallery owner, Paul Kasmin came together to bring the concept to life. The 25 epoxy stone and bronze sheep were set on display upon a hill of grass and soil in various sections of the "grass station" if you will. The inside of the gas station served as the bar, complete with Israeli wine, red and white Sparkling water and a refreshing selection of beer. Clara Ha of Paul Kasmin gallery shared an intimate moment with us when she raved about her husband who was at home with their kids, 2 and 5, while she was out in celebration of such a magnificent display.
