Where: Tompkins Square Park Other details: The annual Tompkins Square Park Halloween Dog Parade brought thousands of spectators to the East Village for the annual costume contest and parade for dogs and their proud owners. With five winners in each round, the the contenders took to this year's trends, from "Barknados" to a Spring Breaker dog, and a few Mileys thrown into the mix. The best in show for this year was "The Lobster Bake" dog. Owners Teresa Costanzo and Charlie Blevins created the Lobster Bake for their dogs in honor of a friend's new cookbook.
