Hmmph! We WERE having a perfectly lovely time last night at the Pop-Up party, until we were brusquely reprimanded by the management for taking pictures. To which we said "Whoaaaa, man! Chill out! Be groovy! Peace and love!". Who knew White Horse Tavern, haven for 1950s counterculture, would be so uptight?-

Honestly, we felt a little like Don when he goes to Gaslamp with Midge and her pothead friends and feels all unwanted. So I guess the evening was a success?

Either way, it just goes to show you, our Pop-Up parties for the most part are just that: A surprise! We're hoping to have better luck at the Standard Tonight for our Betty Draper inspired party.
