The cult favorite Japanese chain opened to hundreds of eager eaters on its very first day, offering those famous "flavor concentration booths" that allow you to dine solo and not have to socialize at all while you enjoy your soup. Sounds extremely New York to us; like, how much would Larry David love one of those?
