Opening this week in the South Village, Charlie Bird is the Italian-accented restaurant by chef Ryan Hardy and sommelier and wine-cellar consultant Robert Bohr. The space is tagged with street art and decorated with Lyle Owerko's art, while the menu uses Italian techniques to create dishes from local ingredients such as Long Island fluke with pickled walnuts and cult Tuscan oil.
