S'Mac

S'Mac serves irresistible Mac-n-Cheese at two New York City locations. The founders are pioneers of the singe-item restaurant genre that has successfully spread throughout the city, opening their flagship shop in 2006. The menu offers simple and more complex dishes with variations including three types of macaroni: regular, multi-grain and gluten free. Each dish strikes the perfect balance of crispy crust and gooey interior, hitting a soft spot for both first-timers and loyal customers. Our favorite is the Napoletana, a combination of Mozzerella, roasted tomatoes, garlic, and basil as well as the Parisienne filled with creamy Brie, figs, shitake mushrooms, and rosemary. Three serving sizes, Nosh, $5.75-$7.75; Major Munch, $9.00-$11.25; Mongo, $15.50-$19.75; Partay!, $39-$50 S'Mac East Village, 345 East 12th Street, New York S'Mac, Murray Hill, 157 East 33rd Street, New York [Photo via Facebook]
