Sur Mesure, a heavenly cocoon in the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Paris, eliminates a distracting decor and is adorned in all white, providing a canvas for the extraordinary meal to come. The walls and ceiling are draped in white fabric, giving the sensation of weightless clouds as the tables surround a crystal structure that appears to be floating in mid-air. The simple design is meant to bestow a full sensory dining experience through a culinary voyage of an ever-changing, avant-garde tasting menu.
