Cafe Standard
We know you love the Standard in Meatpacking with its open biergarden, gorgeous view from the roof and its hip nightlife scene, but Andre Balazs' newly renovated cafe at his hotel in the East Village is fast becoming one of our new favorites for spending the afternoon. The menu was curated by chef John Fraser of Dovetail fame, so you know the food is crave-worthy and the cocktails go down far too easily. The space is bright and airy, with an eclectic decor that combines the charm of a comforting street cafe with the hip vibe of downtown NYC.
