Per Se
$642 for 9 or more courses for two
Per Se is located next door to Masa, behind the giant blue doors that seemingly transport you a continent away from its Japanese peer. At Per Se, Thomas Keller crafts a tasting menu with regular-sized portions instead of the usual bite-sized courses. The four to five hour meals center around a flavor chosen for the season. For example, this winter is truffle season. The dining room of 16 tables has one of the best central park views available.
