Union Square Cafe, the iconic restaurant opened by Chef Danny Meyer 30 years ago, will be uprooting it's 16th Street eatery this winter and moving just a short distance to 235 Park Avenue South. The seasonal spot serving New-American fare incorporates local ingredients from the Greenmarket right in Union Square, with dishes like Grilled Lamb Chops Scotta Dita with Gruyère-Potato Gratin and Swiss Chard (pictured). The last day of service at the Union Square location will be December 12th, so make sure to snatch a reservation and soak up the last bits of nostalgia.
