Piccola Cucina

New York has a hidden gem: Piccola Cucina. The restaurant has an intimate feel, provided by the dimly lit dining room and closeness of the tables. It’s almost shocking how small it is, but once you dig in, none of that matters. You’ll find the homemade pasta dishes, served in stainless steel cooking pans, to be comforting, yet exquisitely executed. Chef Philip Guardione aims to bring his Sicilian upbringing to the bustling and energetic people of New York. The dishes are prepared in an exposed, tiny kitchen right off of the dining space, so guests have a front-row seat.
