The Fillmore was filled with over 500 youth who came out to celebrate Russell Simmons and Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation's 9th annual youth holiday party. That number was almost matched by the number of celebrities who showed up in support to spend time and give out present to the youth. Russell and Danny Simmons with sponsorship by Target really got the crowd going with Dawn Richards of Danity Kane hosting, Hot 97's DJ Envy spinning, and suprise appearances by Jim Jones, Making the Bands Day 26, Ryan Leslie, JoJo from Run's House, Americas Next Top Model Cycle 8 winner Jaslene Gonzalez, Alesha Renee from BET, Teyana Taylor, HBO The Wire's Jamie Hector, Power 105's Egypt and Cherry Martinez, NY Jets' Darrelle Revis, the Retro Kids and others.
