Last night, former Facebook president and Napster co-founder Sean Parker married singer-songwriter Alexandra Lenas in a Game of Thrones-themed wedding that was estimated to have ran up a bill of $10 million. The Saturday wedding was perfectly timed with last night's episode of Game of Thrones, "The Rains of Castamere," which centered around the wedding of Edmure Tully and Roslin Fre (for all the GOT fans out there). The details of the wedding have been slow to leak out (she's already changed her Facebook status to "married"), but here is what we know so far!
The venue was the Ventana Inn & Spa in Big Sur, California, which was decorated to include all things GOT from fake ruins to man-made ponds. The bride ditched the classic Vera Wang for a dress designed by the renowned Lord of the Rings costume designer, Ngila Dickson. All of the 300 guests also donned costumes created by Dickson, which according to Parker's Twitter were not in-theme. “Just because we don’t trust our guests to dress themselves properly doesn’t mean we want them to look like #GoT characters,” Parker tweeted.
