Not only does Cocktail Compass list the happy hours in order of their proximity from your current location, but the app also tells you just how much time you have left until the happy hour special is over – no chance you’ll arrive only to be told you have to pay full price for a gulp of wine. You can easily email a bar’s information to your friends, saving yourself the hassle of texting them the address or directions. Most importantly, a mere tap under the “extras” tab will call you a cab in an instant. Another gem in the “extras” tab are Happy Hour Etiquette tips, including advice on how to tip your bartender as well as what to do when you find one of your friends standing on top of the bar naked shouting lines from Mary Poppins.
