For those who don’t: know how far women have come in the industry

Rachel Sklar is no stranger to individual success with a resume boasting accomplishments as a corporate lawyer in Stockholm and New York and as a CNN contributor. Now she has set her sights on inspiring and promoting the great work of her colleagues and mentees. In 2010, she founded a non-profit organization called Change the Ratio to shine the spotlight on the ladies of the “dude-dominated” tech industry. Through Change the Ratio, Rachel’s new project, TheLi.st, serves as "a platform for awesome women” providing off-the-record advice from people like KPCB's Aileen Lee, investor Joanne Wilson, Style For Hire's Stacy London, and Kiva's Jessica Jackley. Now, they are formally giving the women of technology a club to support and connect to one another, not on the golf course like men do, but online.
