Think The Lonely Island meets Mose Schrute with a bit of Pawnee, Indiana politics and you've got yourself... a cop comedy?
Parks and Recreation's Mike Schur (also known for his on- and off-screen work on
The Office) and Dan Goor have written a
NYC detective comedy starring none other than Andy Samberg. The sitcom, which is produced by Universal TV, was recently picked up by Fox. (As for this photo, we're betting that there won't be any lasers or cats involved in the show, but we couldn't help but think of his absurd
SNL Laser Cats sketch when we heard that Samberg would play a detective.)
