Autism Speaks, with the help of Event Co-Chairs Jesse Morris, Danny Ryan, Phil Quartuccio and a committee made up of Young Professionals with diverse backgrounds, initiated an event series -- Autism Speaks to Young Professionals (AS2YP) -- in an effort to reach out to a generation of people who may not be as familiar with the disorder, which affects one in 88 individuals in the US. Braving almost 100-degree heat on Thursday, AS2YP welcomed supporters, including AS2YP alum Amanda Neiderauer and the newest model turned advocate Jacquelyn Jablonski.
More than 350 guests took to the dance floor of the Highline Ballroom to raise more than $30,000 for Autism Speaks at the 5th Annual Autism Speaks to Young Professionals Summer Soiree. Signature blue martinis were flowing as the crowd of revelers danced the night away to the beats of celebrity DJs TCUP, CHACHI and Caleb Loftus.
