Our favorite mother of 8 was thrust back onto the gossip scene when a photo surfaced of the reality star wearing a Geisha wig and making slanted eyes.  The photo was released without Gosselin's permission and spread like wildfire, prompting many critics to suggest she was being racist. Gosselin responded on her blog by saying: "Jon and I were opening fan mail together one afternoon and when we opened this plastic Asian dress up wig sent from a caring fan, Naturally, I 'slanted' my eyes to show him my best Asian impression, which made him smile. I married an Asian. I have eight biracial children therefore I’m quite certain that I’m the last person that could be called a racist." While the picture may have been taken out of context and without Gosselin's permission, we understand how people could be offended by the photo and with a mixed race family, Gosselin should understand more than anyone how hurtful her gesture could be.
