The question wasn't who was at the New Yorkers for Children Fall Gala last night, but who wasn't? Tons of sparkly floor-length gowns and pearly white smiles lit up Cipriani 42nd Street in Manhattan last night. The event was held to support the city's children services charity that serves 15,000 foster care children.

The tall, dark and handsome NBA Knicks star Carmelo Anthony was this year's honoree after Giving Back Fund named him one of the celebrities who "gives most back." With Nicholas Scoppetta as the Honorary Chair and Henry and Vanessa Cornell, Oscar de la Renta, Lise and Michael Evans, Kevin and Erika Liles, Ashley and Jeff McDermott, Shirin von Wulffen and Frederic Fekkai as the 2011 Fall Gala co-chairs it was an over-the-top celebrity filled night.

But besides gathering for a charitable cause, the high society guests donned some of the most extravagant designer gowns and suits, making the red carpet the flashiest spot of the night. Among phootgraphed were tennis star Serena Williams, Selita Ebanks, Rachel Roy, Hilary Rhoda, Byrdie Bell, Dayssi Kanavos, Susan L.
