    New York exports one of its nightlife fixtures to Vegas, a Chelsea treasure may be forced to shut down, Williamsburg gets a little Manhattan culinary spot in the form of Isa and the East Village seems some bar changes. Find out everything you need to know when it comes to NY nightlife.

    1. 1Oak Goes to Vegas. 1Oak partners Richie Akiva, Scott Sartiano (pictured below) and Ronnie Madra are taking the Chelsea nightclub to the Mirage in Las Vegas. Thee Butter Group will join the Light Group to take over the 16,000- square-foot JET club at the resort. The grand opening will be celebrated with blowout bash on New Year’s Eve. [NY Post]

    2. Isa finally opens in Williamsburg. Last week, Taavo Somer, he of Freemans, Peels, and the Rusty Knot, soft opened Isa, a 40-seat new restaurant with former Il Buco chef Ignacio Mattos. The restaurant will officially open at the end of the month, but for now they're open Tuesdays - Saturdays from 6 - 11 PM with a menu that is, according to the voice mail at the restaurant, "still developing."     3. El Quijote of the Chelsea Hotel may be saying goodbye. The Chelsea Hotel was recently sold to a group led by Joseph Chetrit, a well known real estate magnate. One of Chetrit’s recent local ventures, the former Toy Building at 1107 Broadway, started off as a development plan and ended up foreclosed, derelict and empty three years later. You may want to hurry and get your fill of the paella and fresh lobster now before you can't anymore. [NY Post]

    4. Bar Carrera closes it's East Village location. Bar Carrera closed on Second Avenue between 11th Street and 12th Street (they still have a location on West Houston). Meanwhile, their neighbor and sister drinking spot, Bar Veloce, has expanded into the Bar Carrera space. [EV Grieve]

    5. Red Farm opens its doors after a year of anticipation. Ed Schoenfeld and Joe Ng open a dim sum restaurant in the West Village that will radicalize dim sum as we know it. "Unabashedly inauthentic," is how Schoenfeld describes the menu which will feature shrimp wrapped with yuzu and wasabi as well Thai yellow curry. The decor is yard sale chic accented with a bit of China red. [NY Post]
