German Chocolate Cake

German Chocolate Cake at Otto's Shrunken Head
Why We Love It: Any drink made with ice cream wins our vote. The German Chocolate Cake at this East Village tiki bar with rock-n-roll style is made from a mix of coconut rum, Frangelico (hazelnut liqueur), chocolate syrup, vanilla ice cream, and a few other secret ingredients. It’s topped with whipped cream and served with a confetti-adorned straw and mini umbrella. It sounds heavier than it tastes. Think: it’s basically a medium-rich milkshake with alcohol. Genius. Price: $10 Otto's Shrunken Head, 538 E. 14th Street [Photo via]
