3. NYC Cat Café Rivals Cronuts

Move over Cronut, there's a new reason to waste time on line in town: North America's very first Cat Café. The pop-up shop is a genius marketing move by the folks over at Purina, but cat ladies and little kids don't give a damn about giving in to Big Business as long as it means they get to drink a latte with the comfort of a furry animal in their lap. With all this hype and these out-of-control queues, we heard that hundreds of feline fanatics had to be turned away at the door. Sounds like this place is harder to get into than Paul's Baby Grand on a good night! But you should probably get a move on since the spot at 168 Bowery is only open 'til Sunday (if you're into this kinda thing). [Photo via @yvonnecierrr]
