Where: Storm King Art Center, Mountainville, New York
Why: The Storm King Art Center is widely recognized as one of the world's leading sculpture parks with incredible works by Calder, Lichtenstein, and many more. The 500-acre landscape of hills, woodlands, and fields provides a perfect setting for an amazing collection of over 100 carefully placed sculptures. This open-air museum is the perfect summer day trip to get away from the city.
How to get there: There actually isn't a direct train there so we suggest taking a Coach USA bus departing from the Port Authority Bus Terminal. The ride is only about an hour and 15 minutes.
