Hike Through Watkins Glen State Park
Marvel at nature’s beauty at this incredible 400 foot deep gorge at Watkins Glen State Park. The gorge displays layers and layers of rocks that provide stunning evidence of thousands of years of erosion. There are three hiking trails: The Southern Rim and Indian Trail run along the wooded part of the gorge, while the gorge trail is closest to the stream and goes under and over the parks’ 19 waterfalls. The hike is almost 2 miles long so even the most novice of hikers can enjoy it.
