Man keeps tiger and alligator as pets in his apartment
In 2003, Antoine Yates of Harlem kept a 400 lb tiger (named Ming) and a 5 foot long alligator as pets and was only discovered after he suffered wounds inflicted by Ming. According to Yates, he was trying to create a Garden of Eden in his housing complex. Can anyone imagine the "Garden Of Eden in Harlem?"
It was reported that Yates also wanted to add a bear. He was sentenced to 5 years in prison and 5 years probation.
