    The runways have been fierce this NYFW.  Designers Sophie Buhai and Lisa Mayock (behind the label Vena Cava) held their show, Katie Ermilio hosted a bash, and people came out to view Victor de Souza's Imperial India...

    Katie Ermilio's party was reminiscent of a dainty Marie Antoinette bash, as guests looked pretty in all shades of pink and sipped on prosecco.

    And we took a trip East to experience Victor de Souza's Imperial India inspired fall/winter collection. The understated evening wear comes with mini flourishes that dazzle the pieces out of simplicity. The highly structured shapes in his clothing, it has been noted, make his pieces armor for the everyday woman with the beauty coming from the influence of his couture background.
