Runners Up For Best Dressed
Ellie Kemper in Vivienne Westwood
This dress feels warm and rich in a melange of autumnal hues that perfectly compliment Kemper's auburn hair. Unfortunately, the heavy bangs make it as hard for me to look at the actress as it likely was for her to see out.
Kelly Osborne in Georges Hobeika
Again, the problem here is the hair, which is both messy and unmatched to the dark gown beneath. The dress itself is stunning with interesting mesh paneling and swirling teal sequins, but the purple locks killed it - and not in a good way.
Maria Menounos in Maria Lucia Hohan
Television host, Maria Menounos "worked" the red carpet in one of the season's biggest trends: mint green. A nude lining gave the grecian gown the illusion of being sheer, and added depth to the soft shade.
Anna Faris in Diane von Furstenberg
Black sequins and a sharp, banged bob - this stylized look was even more dramatic on Anna Faris than it was on Rose Byrne. The young, comedic actress certainly shone in the bold look... but maybe a tad too much. If the sequins were matte rather than reflective, the effect would have been less oil slick and more sleek.
