On Tuesday night, Karl Lagerfeld and his cartoon spokes-model Mon Shu joined guests at the Paris press launch of his new make up line for Shu Uemura. Mon Shu, the cartoon spokes-model that Karl designed, has a black bob and is dressed in his signature white collar, black tie outfit. Almost stealing the spotlight from Karl, Mon Shu was plastered everywhere that night from pastries, to plush toys, to over-sized balloons.

Guests got make-up tips from Shu Uemura's creative director Kakuyasu Uchiide, and even received complimentary make-over sessions. Laura Smet and Dani Au Lancement also came out to join other beauty editors at the special launch event.
The special holiday collection will be available at Selfridges from October 14.
