The Big Moments
This year's Paris Fashion Week is full of innovation and new surprises. From famous designers showing in their apartments to newcomers showing on catwalks. These are some special of the events happening this week:
-Vera Wang will be receiving the Legion of Honor for her hard work and dedication to the fashion industry. Having done her schooling in Paris, the French feel particularly proud of Vera Wang's accomplishments. This is one of the highest forms of recognition an artist can receive from the government.
-Clare Waight Keller will be doing her last show for Chloé after 6 years of designing their womenswear line.
-Rodarte will show in Paris for the first time
-Fenty x Puma by Rihanna will be in Paris. Riri flipflopped between Paris and New York but ultimately decided France was the place to do it.
-In celebration of 30 years of A.P.C., Jean Touitou will show for one time only during Paris Fashion Week. He chose an intimate venue in order to maintain the company's family aesthetic.
