The Giants' Victor Cruz Kicking off NY Fashion Week [WWD] And finally, today marks the beginning of Fashion Week. Can you hear the excitement in my voice? No? To be honest, there is little I look forward to in Fashion Weeks. It's really not my thing. However, this? This is pretty amazing: I also loved this: Teen Vogue editors' fashion week necessities [TeenVogue] Here are some of my picks! Here's to making it through this week alive! Eva Chen, Beauty and Health Director/Special Projects Editor -Starbucks card/business card: both fashion week essentials -Burt's Bee hand cream: she shakes a lot of hands backstage so this keeps them soft -Visine: Keeps her looking awake at late night parties -Chanel pencil: to feel extra fancy pants backstage at shows -Cucumber face wipes: sometimes makeup artists like to demonstrate new trends and some looks are best kept on the runway -Blotting paper: a day of shows can take a toll on her skin Amanda Fitzsimons, Fashion Writer -WWD magazine: She reads every morning, fashion week or not -Smythson Notebook to jot down notes during shows -Hair Gel: it's suppose to rain all fashion week, which is bad news for curly haired girls. She carries this around in effort to avoid the disco queen look and let people behind her see at shows -Lavender oil: it's suppose to have a calming effect, though it might just have a placebo effect. -Milk Duds: She has a Milk Dud Problem and is up to a box a day
