You’ve been studying for about five months now and the score differential between your first practice test and twentieth has barely jumped more than five points. It’s at this point that you decide Harvard is overrated, and that you actually wouldn’t mind attending that small, inclusive state school in middle America, they need lawyers too! Who wants all of the stress and competition that comes with attending a "top 10 school" anyway? You mention to your friends and family that, actually, biglaw really isn’t for you; you’d much rather work “for the people” than sell your soul at an Ivy. The ACLU has a local branch in Montana, right?
